Udara, our host, did all he could to share the local area. His local knowledge was invaluable. Great place to stay while visiting Yala National Park.

Great place to stay if visiting Yala National Park. Spacious 2 bedroom house, very clean and tidy. No restaurants nearby so Udara’s mum and Aunt cooked for us on our first night and his sister cooked on our second night, food very good at a very good price. Udara is a good host who took us to the Temple at sunset on our first night. He organised a full day safari with packed breakfast on our second day which was a highlight for us as we saw pretty much everything including 3 leopards and managed to observe 2 of them at very close quarters for a total of 1 hour…we were so very lucky that day. Definitely recommend staying here for your safari and getting Udara to organise it all and take you.

Communication with Udara was faultless. He responded to queries by return and gave detailed information. If you like being organised, Udara is the man for you! He took us wildlife spotting round the corner from the villa, accompanied us to Yala and also gave us a guided tour of the local Buddhist temple on Kirinda beach. The villa itself was spacious and spotless and offers easy access to Block one of Yala National Park (30 minute drive). We also fell in love with CC the cat!

Very spacious accommodation on ground floor of the house. Two bedrooms both with a/c. Host on hand for questions and lovely dinner provided to eat in dining room

The host, Udara is awesome. He took us to a beautiful local temple and the scene behind the temple is beautiful and peaceful.... good place for meditation. He organised the safari trip for us. We had a home made packed breakfast on the safari , really good. We also ordered lunch cooked by Udara's mother.....yummy sri lankan food. Only regret, we only had 1 day at Yala.
