Being at Ranakeliya was a lovely little break from the up and down busyness of travelling across Sri Lanka. The nature setting is ideal for relaxation and well matches the safari atmosphere of a Yala visit. Good service from the staff. Meals were good too: breakfast was generous, ditto the Sri Lankan curry option. I had my breakfast upon return from safari in the afternoon and appreciated this option. Liked the look of the tent. I booked the group safari option through their contact person as it was more affordable and more suitable for a solo traveller.

Attentive staff and amazing food prepared on site. The lodge provided a fantastic safari tour guide who took us off the beaten track to ensure we saw plenty of elephant and leopard!

We enjoyed staying in the tent and playing with the friendly dogs :) the tents are comfortable and kitted out with electricity and air con. The main animals you will see around are dogs, buffalo, and peacocks. Nice view of the stars at night.

Our tent was great. Very comfortable. The staff were great and the BBQ dinner was excellent. They organised a great safari for us which was all-inclusive.

Lovely peaceful location close to Yala national park. We enjoyed the food at the lodge and the staff were fantastic. A safari was arranged for us with our driver Tarrange getting us to sightings of elephants and leopard, he really looked after us. Bedrooms and tents were clean and well equipped.

Cosy tent with very good facilities. Clean and quiet. The staff were wonderful. Helped us with safari and transport bookings. We hade delicious food and they managed to handle our food allergy very good. The coconut pancakes were amazing. Wonderful to be served a good BBQ under the stars. Highly recommend this place.

Expensive stay, but nice location and good experience staying in a tent. It has five star kind of facilities in a tent.
