It’s ok given the price. Wasn’t expecting too much but the room is really basic. The owner is very accommodating - allowing late check out after our safari tour. He helped us with our luggages as there’s no lift. He also waited for us as we reached the place quite late at night. He is also quite responsive most of the time. And he prepared breakfast for us for our safari tour.

We stayed 1 night only and took 5 a.m. safari to Yala national park from the hotel. The room was simple but had everything you need, air conditioning, hot water. The host was very friendly and helpful - arranged an early breakfast for us so that we could eat on our way to safari. The safari itself was well organized

Massive room, clean, lovely view from the balcony. Friendly hosts. Great safari, the host made us a breakfast pack to take with us. They let us check out later so we could do the safari and have a shower after. Easy to tuk tuk into town, nice restaurants available there.

The host family were incredibly hospitable and always went over and above to ensure our needs were met. We were very well looked after, felt safe, and were very comfortable for the entirety of our stay. They were even so kind as to drop us off to eat at restaurants and pick us up after. We also did the safari with them and it was the our most favourite memory from our time in Sri Lanka and the food they provided was delicious. Thank you! We’ve loved our stay.

Good AC, good bathroom , nice safari because they gave effort and clear explaination so that we could see many animals and scenaries, breakfast good too. The place he recommended for dinner wan not bad too, overall our stay was good and we are specially grateful for the effort they put in for safari. Was safe for solo female travellers too

We completely enjoyed our stay at blue Sky Hotel Yala. The Manager was extremely kind and fullfilled all kind of wishes. So, he arranged a perfect fullday Safari to Yala for us. His Brother is a really good wildlife Ranger and not only made us see leopards, elefants and many more but also managed that we often could enjoy the animals for ourself because he knew a lot of beautiful secret spots. Also, the Manager easily arranged a transfer to our next Stop. We definetaly recommend everybody to stay at Blue Sky Hotel!

Lovely place to stay, as described on the website. We had very soft sheets and both air conditioning and a fan to keep cool. The hotel organised our safari and provided breakfast, it was a great trip and we even saw a leopard!
