Everything was awesome! Zaur and his family are amazing hosts. Given the bridge to the village is currently broken and you need a 4WD to reach the guesthouse Zaur even picked us up. Zaur and his wife recommended great hikes and helped out with everything. We would have loved to stay longer!

Such a lovely family to stay with. Stunning mountain views, great for hiking. It's a very remote mountain village at high altitude, bring warmest clothes (we stayed mid November), bathroom is across an outside courtyard. If you're looking for peaceful mountains and genuine homestay it is perfect. We liked the food very much, breakfast was omelette, bread & cheeses. Thankyou!

We loved our stay in Zaur Guesthouse in the middle of nature. The host was a very kind, helpful, sweet person and always wore a smile on his face. He helped us a lot to organize a trip to the mountain since not everyone in Azerbaijan speaks English. Also, the breakfast and dinner were very tasty. I highly recommend this place. Thank you 🙏🏻

Zaur and his family are such great people to live with in the already incredible setting at Xinaliq. They make you feel at home, and you are truly accepted as on your own during your time there. Zaur is more than happy to provide any assistance you may need, and if you'd like, he can arrange tours/hikes in the region for a minimal fee. Although I did not do so, there are a few gorgeous and well-defined trails that begin from the village itself that you should be able to do on your own. Overall, it was an incredible experience!

Zaur and his family were extremely hospitable, very flexible, and a joy to be around. They provided endless hot cups of tea, delicious meals, and wonderful hospitality. Zaur even rescued us from a rainstorm when we went on an ill-timed hike in the mountains! He was a great communicator and allowed us to choose which room we needed and gave us lots of information about the village and made sure we knew our route back. The best part was when Zaur and his wife let us help with milking their cows and drink fresh warm milk in the fresh outdoors!
