Lovely little hut with warm showers! Izzet and his wife were wonderful hosts. We shared a delicious dinner with the family. Izzet is also a mountain guide with lots of experience and he helped us plan our hiking.

HOSPITALITY at the highest level ever experienced by us. The room has fantastic view, the food is delicious and the trips are unforgattable. Thank you for everything! We would stay there forever, but we have to work a bit till we can return as soon as possible.

Izzet was great guy! He also organize taxi (future Formula-1 driver👍) to you, you can't go to village another way. His wife is excellent cook, she made tasty home food, I loved it! Room is basic and bathroom was really clean. Remember, don't wait 5-star hotel, this place is in rural area.

Izzet and his family really makes you feel at home.The room is cozy, clean and comfortable. The tasty local food they prepare can' t be better. The surroundings are breathtaking and if you want to explore around, Izzet it s the best guide, you can't be in better hands. We went to the Fire Temple and he organized the ride, permissions and even a bottle of wine. He knows everything about local history and the conversations with him drinking tea will be in our memory for ever.

A wonderful guest house with a really friendly, open and fun family! The rooms were exceptional value, the first night I stayed in the one in the main family house and then the new one they have built by the entrance to the garden, which has a fantastic modern bathroom with hot shower etc, - an incredible effort for such a remote mountain town! I had every meal here with the family and the food was incredibly tasty - dolma, soups, potatoes from their own garden. You can learn loads about Xinaliq and the history of the area from the family who will always engage you in conversation with enthusiasm and warmth.

Best place to stay not only in Xinaliq but in whole Azerbaijan. Room was good with a great view, beds very comfortable. The host was really friendly, with a lot of history, nature or geographic knowledge. He showed us places we would never menage to go by ourselves

Very kind and welcoming host. I could not speak to the rest of the family but Izzet is fluent in English, which was great for interesting conversations during dinner. I got enormous amounts of mostly local food - some of which I liked and others I didn’t. That’s part of the experience! Also, the bed was very comfortable and there are extra blankets when it’s cold. WiFi is also surprisingly good. I did an extra afternoon activity (50 Manat) where we got driven up the river on the back of a GAZ-66 truck, did a little hike to a waterfall and made some tea with snacks. I can highly recommend this!
