A very pleasant stay with excellent hosts. Our group were located near each other in three units. Wynyard was very central for our exploration of the northern area of Tasmania.

It’s close to everything. It’s right on the river, like metres from the water. There’s a pub over the road but there’s a great restaurant on site. The pub even delivers meals as well. The view is great. The beds are THE best. Excellent pillows ( extras in the wardrobe, but also a ‘ pillow menu’ so didn’t even worry that I’d left my favourite at home) The linen is crisp- very important. The toiletries are L’occitane for goodness sake. There’s a great variety in the mini/snacks bar. Complimentary bottled water on arrival and a generous packet of fresh and chewy Pascall mixed sweets on departure. We’ll be back because even tho it’s not the newest or most modern it’s obvious that the visitor is really valued.

Have stayed here before. The position of this motel right on the waterfront is exceptional. Its quiet, old fashioned, and centrally located. The views magnificent, and the staff and ambience excellent. Can't be faulted. And a reasonable price.
