“Comfy staying in lovely Worpswede”
08 Dec 2023
Very nice hotel, in the heart of the pitoresque Worpswede village. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice living area on the ground floor. Excellent breakfast with hand made sweet and savory treats and the possibility to order express egg dish.

“Quirky and very good for a short stay.”
31 Aug 2023
We chose this small hotel due to location (near the Valentin Bunker) and for the high scoring reviews. Querky in several ways, we enjoyed the unique village location and boutique, small, modern European style of the Hotel Village in Worpswede. The place itself was quiet, with a couple of staff welcoming and supportive upon our arrival at around 6pm. We were able to park at the back of the hotel, where there were 6-8 spaces for free and an entrance door at the rear too through to the reception/bar and small restaurant area. A lady showed us to our room on the first floor at the front of the hotel, accessed along an outside balcony and provided all the info on breakfast and checking out in pretty good English. Our room was split level and whilst not large, the entrance way led to a small sofa/sitting room with TV, an outside small balcony (image shows view of table and chairs outside hotel) and modern, well equipped bathroom with walk in shower. Stairs also led up to our twin bedded room which was nice and comfortable too. The porthole window was a good feature and provided a view out to the front of the hotel. The hotel itself is situated on a mainly pedestrian area, though cars on occasion drive along it at slow speed. Several boutique style art and craft and food shops are also along this roadway and I can highly recommend the 'Eiscafe Dolomiti' for ice-cream or other sweet treat within easy walking distance. There are also a few small restaurants including Greek nearby, and we chose a small pizza/takeaway venue which had a few tables outside rather than eat in the hotel. Breakfast was superb - plentiful, fresh and a great selection. I'd class it as Continental, though there was also hot scrambled and boiled eggs, small sausages and a variety of other tasty nibbles, such as numerous cheeses, breads, yoghurts, fruit, hams, sweat cakes and as much tea/coffee you wish.
