Our stay at the Village Inn was beyond exceptional. Heather went out of her way to make out stay incredible and offered incredibly helpful insights in to things to do, places to eat etc in Woodstock.

Fantastic place to stay, full of charm. Good facilities and friendly staff. The tavern served great food and was very popular. A good location with parking, just 2 minute walk into the centre of Woodstock .

Great fun in the bar, just a pity we picked a stay time when the bar was closed for one of the evenings! Sawyer and Tammy were great and Sawyer particularly went out of his was to help, sorting our bags out and even giving us a lift to the Prince & Pauper when we stayed in the bar a little too long! And of course anyone who went to Live Aid is good with us Heather

A very characterful room and building overall. Some lovely period furniture and a beautiful Parisienne light fitting! The host goes out her way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was delightful.

The breakfasts, the garden, the location. Also the bar makes fabulous margaritas (with chili!). The charcuterie board (the regular one and vegetarian one) were excellent.

If you like “olde worlde” charm well this place had it in abundance! We had room 2 which had its own ( balcony for UK guests) porch and sitting room . It rained on the afternoon of our stay and it was lovely to sit on the porch watching the world go by . Make sure you try their restaurant ( not open every day ) the Vic, excellent ! Heather is an excellent hostess.
