Hotel Overview

Originally built in 1905, and surrounded by 30 acres of beautiful gardens, this former country house offers free Wi-Fi, free car parking, and log fires in the drawing room. It boasts a beauty and wellbeing studio, restaurant, terrace bar, as well as conference and banqueting facilities.

Breakfast was good. Food service was speedy and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and it was nice to have a bath in the en-suite. Public areas were pleasant and memorabilia was interesting. Gardens were lovely, although we didn’t take full advantage because it was January!

Fabulous gardens, lovely food, all clued up for gluten free too. We even got a room upgrade. So clean. Good service , quiet. Really pleased.

Our previous accommodation let us down and we were thrilled to be able to stay here instead at short notice. Although a huge place it still felt cosy and staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved relaxing in beautiful lounge, looking at wonderful grounds. Food exceptional too. Thankyou.
