Hotel Overview

Reopened in July 2009 after a dramatic facelift, this stylish inn boasts contemporary, boutique-style rooms, free Wi-Fi, a lavish bar and a 2 AA Rosette award-winning restaurant.
Behind its beautiful original 17th-century town-house façade, the Crown is a thoroughly 21st-century inn. Stylish and modern, the en suite rooms have been individually decorated by award-winning interior designers Bentheim of Chelsea. Each room has a plasma flat-screen TV with Sky satellite channels and a DVD player.
The beds boast plump goose-down pillows, luxurious mattresses, crisp cotton bed linen and Italian lighting. The bathrooms have under-floor heating and French organic toiletries.
The restaurant offers superb, award-winning cuisine, made with the finest, freshest seasonal produce available locally.

Breakfast was fine. Pleasant. The room was fine, more comfortable seating would have been nice - looked good but not comfortable. Dinner the Wine was good.

All met high standards, good quality food and ingredients. Staff friendly, food hot, not long to arrive. Family visited as it was my birthday, they were impressed with staff helpfulness as they had a new baby.All in all good break

Great location and was quiet off season. Just 5 minutes from station. Everything was well provided in the room. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice both continental and cooked.

This hotel is quite the find. Tucked into the heart of Woodbridge with ample parking hidden from the main road the hotel rooms were rather larger than expected with a bath as well as a shower. It has a very good restaurant and bar on the ground floor and breakfast was excellent. Easy walking distance to the waterfront and the famed tidal mill.
