We thought our room was excellent, it even had a balcony. Unfortunately our visit was in the middle of a Met Office Red Alert warning because of Storm Darragh. There was a power cut affecting the whole area, so the hotel had no lighting or heating. Felt very sorry for the owner who couldn’t do anything about the situation. If I was going back to that area again I would be more than happy to stay there again (without a storm)

I've stayed here twice and on both occasions my stay has been lovely. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. James was very helpful when I asked for a particular room before my stay. His response via email was very quick and my request was met. The place is lovely and clean, nice and warm too. Food is very tasty. I'll be staying here again in the new year

The restaurant was very good. Interesting choices and I found options I could eat even though I am on a restricted diet. Great view out of the restaurant windows, which we did not appreciate until breakfast time as it had been dark at dinner. Breakfast was super tasty and a great treat. The staff were very helpful and I was grateful they were flexible given I had managed to make a mistake with my booking. Lovely room with comfy bed, Would definitely recommend and would stay there and eat there again if we were in the area.

The room was very comfortable, and modern. We ate in the bar both nights we were there - the food was top rate and the service was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent.

Fabulous room, spacious and comfortable. Food in the bar hom ecooked and really tasty with good proportions. Beers well kept. Powerful shower with good temperature control. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and good company especially James (the boss),Nikki, Liv and Kary ( think I've spelt that correctly)

The location to St Audries wedding venue was perfect ahead of my early start. I arrived slightly later than planned and the staff were friendly and accommodating
