A beautiful, well equipped and cosy cottage. Everything you need. Shower has low pressure as fed from a spring- but adequate for a couple, a large family would need to wait for the immersion to fill/ heat up again- not the end of the world! . The local pub, and community shop are a short walk away. The cottage also benefits from a woodburner and an open fire.

The location was beautiful and peaceful with the relaxing sound of running water. The cottage is quaint and is a home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed (master bedroom) and a cosy front room. The cottage is an old property which adds to its character and charm which might not be to everyone's taste. If you're wanting mod cons and a shiny new property, this might not be for you. o2 Phone signal is poor, but 3 was OK and perhaps EE. No WiFi, but this wasn't an issue for me. Parking isn't directly at the property, but is a very short walk (30 seconds away) across a little bridge over the river...again, this adds to the character and charm. I slept extremely well here and felt very safe as a lone female. Neighbours were extremely friendly and helpful. Water is from a spring, so the pressure isn't very good, so be prepared for a very quick bath/shower, but again, this is part of the character of the property and quite a lovely old fashioned quirk. Property has an open fire and log burner which I didn't use as the storage heaters were fine as it wasn't cold when I visited. The front garden was good for my dog to have a snif around (seemed secure, but didn't check all boundaries). The area has some beautiful walks and lots of dog friendly pubs. All In all, I loved it here and wouldn't hesitate to book again if I was visiting the area. The owner was very friendly and helpful and a lovely lady.
