We rented two rooms, which were very spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect as we were renting the rooms to attend an event in the city.

Nice kitchen. Rooms are pretty comfortable with internet TV. The owner really helped me with temporarily storage for my excess baggage.There is a Food Fair just down the street and the Forks and Human Rights Museum are not far away.

I think what other reviews forget is that this place is advertised as a hostel, which of course means there are shared facilities. The kitchen and both washrooms are available to use, and the owner is so friendly and will always help you out if need. It felt very luxurious to have my own room too, very nice to have some privacy. The hostel is only about a 15 minute walk to the main area of Winnipeg. Or alternatively there are plenty of buses, as long as you have $3.15 in change. The area feels safe too! It's a great place where I was more than happy to go back to after my time in Churchill. Thank you so much!

No breakfast, altho I hadn’t expected any. Fairly clean, schrunchy washroom, lacked a few basic amenities, good privacy, tenants often left the front door open altho we had all been explicitly told to lock it, mildly sketchy neighborhood, but excellent amenities in the area, and “cool” place.

Very well maintained property. Room is updated yet keeps to the original character of the home. Lots of cool gadgets -- automatic light sensors in hallways, wireless phone charging, new windows. Comfortable computer chair. Met most of the other guests and they were lovely. Mostly international folks who aren't visiting but are arriving in Winnipeg to settle or are revisiting.
