Hotel Overview

Perched on a hill overlooking Windermere town centre is the Windermere Hotel. Built in 1847 the hotel offers rooms with en suite bathrooms, and a restaurant.

Staff lovely Stayed in 116 & 218 nice size but needed decorating Windows need replacing but spoke to the manager & learnt why they hadn’t been done. Made sense & that’s why I have given a higher rating Maybe have something in each room explaining the process & people would feel more accepting

The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to the lake and the town itself. My room was in pretty good condition as unfortunately some of the hotel was a bit shabby.
