Family Rooms are situated in Tendal Howe within Hillthwaite gardens, yet only a few steps away from the hotel. Access is by a covered walkway and you will find convenient parking right outside the entrance to the separate building, ensuring easy access to your room. This peaceful location enjoys the Lakeland panorama. Family rooms have a large double bed, open plan through to a lounge area with either a sofa bed or space for a put me up bed. There is an internal second bedroom with a single bed.

Breakfast and evening meal excellent. Staff very friend and helpfull. Location of Hotel good. Views stunning from the Dinning room, lounge and garden room. Bedroom furnishings and decor very nice.

We received lots of helpful information about our stay before we arrived at the hotel via direct messages. This made check in and restaurant reservations very easy. The room was modern and clean with a lovely view. The restaurant was superb - we had a fantastic 3 course meal. The hotel is well situated, just a short walk into Bowness. The staff were very friendly and we felt that the Covid measures were taken very seriously. A great place to stay - we will be back!
