There are complimentary passes for the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, solarium and gym.Thornbank will keep your card details in case of any damage or policy breaches.The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the guarantee card up to the full amount of the booking.The total room occupancy includes all children and infants. Room occupancy cannot be exceeded.The free gym and spa is subject to availability, located 10 minutes drive from the property.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Excellent homely property with all of the comforts required for a short trip away. Ideally located halfway between Bowness and Windermere. Both hosts were very friendly and helpful and always on hand to support with any requirements. A lovely peaceful experience. Would strongly recommend.

Lovely B&B right in the middle of both ends of Windermere which takes 10 mins to walk to. We briefly mentioned we were here for a birthday and we returned back to our room later to a birthday card and chocolates which was very lovely and considerate. Jane and Mark were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

Easy check in, owners were off out on a walk whilst we arrived so we crossed paths and they introduced themselves and let us know we had a room upgrade to the king size room which was lovely for our night stay. Didn’t spend much time in the room at all as we only stayed the 1 night but had everything we needed, comfy bed, towels, information guide etc - they also sent a message later on in the evening to check all was ok which we thought was sweet as we had been out all day & early evening! Car parking and also street parking if the car park was full right outside property. Would recommend!

The host were excellent, the breakfast was first class and the property was super clean and inviting.When we asked about buses/what’s on etc, the host went above and beyond to help, I would highly recommend a stay here
