Both ladies we met during breakfast were pleasant and friendly. The location was great as it wasn’t too far from shops. The beguiling was beautiful and cleaning staff friendly and welcoming.

The location was great, clean and tidy. Breakfast was georgous and Muriel was a perfect hostess. Very welcoming and friendly.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location was absolutely perfect with the train station, restaurants and bus station without a few minutes walking distance.

Perfect location, close to so many choices for cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops and only a short walk to Bowness for more choice and of course the boat trips. Room 10 is a beautiful room with a freestanding claw foot bath as well as a super comfy super king bed, a bathroom with shower and a seating area. Everywhere is well presented and beautifully clean. The breakfast choice is vast and all cooked to order and served to your table by the friendliest staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Room 9 is a lovely twin with a large shower room. Thank you so much, we had such a great time and would definitely recommend The Cottage 10/10
