It was a very lovely and friendly atmosphere. Richard and Paula were incredibly kind. The breakfast was exceptional. Overall, everything was perfect.

Preorder breakfast to our room extremely easy and convenient, as well as being on time and absolutely delicious. Beautiful and cozy room with extremely comfortable beds. We loved the dvds available which we could watch on the tv in the room! Really welcoming and kind owners. Will be returning and recommending!

Kirkwood guest house is located in a great spot for exploring Bowness and Windermere and with free parking as an added bonus.the hosts were lovely and made us feel so welcome. The room was warm and the bed comfy. The freshly cooked breakfast every morning was lovely and set us up for the day. Would definitely look at staying again when in the area.

The host Paula couldn't have been more helpful with everything from giving us tips of the local area to a friendly chat. The guest house itself is nicely situated between Windermere and Bowness. It was clean, tidy, warm with a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with loads of options to choose from. All in all exceptional all round. Will definitely be staying there again next time I return to the Lakes!
