Clean and comfortable.Smartly furnished. Great location. We liked the brookside pub that was close by.

The location, and the size of the property were perfect for a family getaway. There were lots of resources provided, especially in the kitchen. Nice towels. Property had charm and character.

Lovely home from home in a great location, very close to the centre of Windermere. The parking permit was very useful and we managed to park close to the house. All the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay

The house is large and spacious but as others have said desperately needs some decorating and touch ups. It’s very basic. Suited us as a family of 6 and a dog. The location is great for spending a week in the lakes- shops and bars 2 minutes away.

Great location, also a bonus that there was a great park just up the road from the property. Easy walk into Windermere.

Lovely quirky cottage lots a space and everything you need also in a perfect location wasn’t anything I disliked about the property the only thing I could say if the garden was lovely could just do with a new table and chair as it was worn and a bit shoddy
