What a great location ..... and with parking (£15). Very friendly staff, delicious help yourself breakfast. Comfortable room, dog friendly, secluded garden for drinks, tea etc.

The location is perfect and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed, but the real strength of the Royal is the staff. They are friendly, welcoming and professional. The breakfast is excellent and the bar is lively!

Insufficient capacity in restaurant for breakfast with appox 8 persons asked to wait in lounge for tables to be free. Reception took note and apologised, which was good

Perfect location. Great garden. Helpful staff. Room was simple clean and airy. Shower temperature control was poor ( scalding hot or cold with little range between).

All staff are delightful, ,nothing too much trouble public rooms all tasteful and comfortable.My easy assessment room had a wet room and equipment for a disabled person.
