What a great find. Lovely atmosphere. Very tasty food. Amazing staff. You won't find better value in South Africa. Sitting round the fire or listening to local live music in the bar, in a totally relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by great people.

Lovely place to spend a night or two when visiting the Wilderness area. The room we were staying in was great with a traditional roof we've seen only on higher end lodges, and the breakfast was as fresh as it gets!

Everyone working there was very friendly, easy to meet people and every night is a fun night. It's also walkable to the main hiking trails. I also thought that I left my passport there, and everyone put in their efforts to find it. My passport ended up being found somewhere else, and I really appreciated the help.

Really friendly and helpful staff! We also loved how they provided things like pancakes and fruit in the morning, bread in the evening and lit the bonfire, it made the place so warm and cozy!

Excellent backpackers in the woods. Huge space outside in nature, many accommodation options to choose from, great staff, and gorgeous surroundings! They also have some band nights, which is cool, and a market on Sundays with cool stuff to buy!

Quaint set up. Very chilled under the trees. Staff was helpful with hiking tips. Bungalows are lovely.

Staff were super friendly and always willing to assist. Great location. Great atmosphere. We loved the on-site tent + bed, which included ports for cables. Outer zip on tent was broken, as mentioned by staff upon arrival, but they were helpful and provided us with everything we needed.

Wonderful location right in nature. Walking distance from national reserve. Good vibe with communal dinner option and bar to meet other travellers. The area where you sleep is in buildings further to the back and quiet. Large space to park cars.
