Very beautiful property right on the beach. Clean smart interior. Good if you want to make use of the free bar, maybe a little expensive if you don’t! Sari and her team run a very slick operation and she went out of her way to help us.

This is the best Guest House that we have stayed at ever in SA. We have been coming to SA since 2017 and have stayed at some fantastic places. The staff were great and everything went smoothly and seamless. We holiday in SA twice a year now and will stay here now on every trip. Also the heated pool was almost like a hot tub!

Everything, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Amazing views of the ocean, great breakfast and service. Take a room with a sea view, you will not be disappointed. And within walking distance to the restaurants in town. Thanks Sarie for an amazing stay!

The hotel and facilities are absolutely exceptional, everything is very thought through to make your stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. However, what really made the stay special was the incredibly warm welcome from Sarie and Lyl. They ate absolute superstars and will make you feel at home in a matter of seconds. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked an additional night and so we suggest you don’t make the same mistake we did - book for at least two nights! The room itself is beautiful with a breathtaking view of the sea. Additionally, it has the most comfortable bed I slept in during our garden route travel. The breakfast was faultless with a lot of fresh produce. We will definitely be back the next time we visit South Africa.

If there would be a 12 out of 10, I would chose it. Everything about the Escape is exceptional. The setting, the beautiful architecture and furniture, the pool, the terrace. But what makes it soo special is Sarie and her staff. If there is something like a "natural born host", then it is Sarie. Welcoming, very warm, helpful with tips and everything. But it is not just Sarie, all other staff members are super friendly as well. The breakfast is superb as well. We had the Southern Right Suite and because of its beauty decided to stay in and just watch and listen to the waves. We will come back!! That is a promise to the Escape and especially for us.
