We couldn’t fault this place. The room was beautifully presented, the breakfast was delicious, evenings around the fuerring (bbq/firepit) were memorable and the treetop bath was a real treat. The lodge is set in beautiful gardens and lush rainforest which are absolutely stunning.

Absolutely unique , situated in tree fern and native NZ forest . Beautiful accommodation with breakfast facilities in own space and shared kitchen for self catering . Fire pit , hot tub spa , tree top bath and thrilling forest walks . Fantastic attention to detail at every stage . Thank you Debbie & Ernst for a wonderful stay.

Debbie and Ernst are the perfect hosts! We were taken on a tour around the place on arrival, provided the most delicious homemade breakfast, Ernst put the fire on for us and provided s'mores ingredients. They also provided things like torches for glow worms and shovels for Hot Water Beach. It's the most beautiful place that I almost want to keep secret, in case they get booked up again when I want to return.

The venue was just stunning!!! Well thought out, picturesque moments everywhere you went! From a fire pit to cook on at night or enjoy marshmallows around to hammocks hidden in the trees. This is just the most Devine location I've ever stayed in! Absolutely wonderful breakfast provided too - from home made bread, to honey and eggs from off the property, to meat and cheese. . .absolutely amazing!
