The breakfast was brilliant. The location is great, as were the views. We have a static caravan nearby which is closed during the winter, but wanted to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary in our favourite part of the world, so that was wonderful. Our 2 dogs were able to enjoy our time there too.

The room was well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and a great start to our day. Adele and John were welcoming and friendly. They also knew when to give the guests some space too which was very appreciated! Great value for money too!

Our host the landlord was super helpful. We had a bit of difficulty arriving due to the snow and he volunteered to organise a rescue party to fetch us. Lovely home cooked food and cosy room.

Hosts very welcoming and very dog friendly big thankyou for a brilliant breakfast even though the landlord was up all night with a flooded cellar we will be back but maybe in a summer 😆

Owners were extremely friendly the place was cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was beautiful very good start to the day. Charlie the dog was a little sweetie. Very very clean and well presented Inn. The evening meals we had were also lovely. The Saturday night we had a quiz night and the locals welcomed us which was lovely from them. We had an absolutely wonderful stay will definitely be staying again. Thank you Adele and John. (see you soon).

The whole experience was great. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was so cosy real fires, lovely and warm and very Christmassy. We had a very tasty evening meal and there was a good selection of beers and spirits. Breakfast again was great, we had the veggie option, there was plenty to keep you filled up until tea time. We would recommend the Board Inn as a great little pub in a lovely setting and would visit it again next time we are in the area.

Lovely overnight stay In this fabulous picturesque village made all the prettier by the snow. Made very welcome by the hosts and Charlie the dog. Very cosy pub amazing food lovely stay for my hubby's birthday ( thankyou for the birthday card ). Made Bella the dog very welcome too
