Very friendly and extremely helpful landlord and landlady, Phil helped me bringing the cases in and even helped me with a parking space which have just been freed; they made me feel like at home. The room was very well equipped, spacious wardrobe with plenty of hangers, plenty of draws, so I did not have any problem to store everything I brought. The shower room very clean, good shower and well equipped, I didn’t miss anything. It is perfectly situated in the middle of the town and activities. In other words I couldn’t find any fault with the place nor with the owners 😊

Phil and Gillian very welcoming hosts. Perfect location to explore Whitby and surrounding areas. Lovely breakfast and clean and comfortable room. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent breakfasts, great location, etc, etc. Attention to detail and the needs of the guest was outstanding, beginning with the telephone call we received en route warning us about an unannounced local road closure. A very pleasant stay.

Excellent breakfast, room was impeccable with exceptional cleanliness. all amenities required for a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for a nice little walk past many side street shops and pubs down to the quayside and all amenities.

It was how a bb should be parking no problem permit given room clean breakfast the best i have had in a long time hosts perfect nothing too much place was in perfect position for town a really good stay nice to see the good bbs are still their and we will be back
