Our Superior King Room Summer is located at the rear of the property. It has a barley twist French style king size bed and feature light, decorated in teals and gold. The room also includes a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries. The ensuite bathroom is lavishly appointed with a opulent large walk-in shower. Outside there is a garden terrace for guests to sit.

A large, spacious room overlooking the garden with a king-sized sleigh bed and a traditional wooden fireplace. A comtemporary en suite shower room with sculpted tiles completes the experience. Please note that there are several flights of stone steps to access the house from the street and 2 flights of stairs to access the rooms from the hall. Also, the walk to and from town is via a steep slope. Highgate House may therefore not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. “A fantastic place for a weekend break”

The owners of the property are absolutely fantastic and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and well laid out with good quality furniture. The en-suite was very well appointed. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and had a lovely selection of hot and cold food. There was a ready supply of tea and coffee for us to make too. The location is excellent, just on the edge of the town centre so far enough out to be quiet but close enough to easily get around on foot.

I loved everything about Highgate House. The owners were positively delightful. The breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful and so clean. The location was perfect. Even their local advice was spot on. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms.

We love everything about Highgate house. It's high end so costs a little more than some but it's well worth the extra cost. We are returning in April and very much looking forward to our weekend! 😁

The house was absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated. The Christmas tree added to the wonderful atmosphere. The hosts were lovely. Our room was exceptional- gorgeous decoration to a very high standard. Breakfast delivered to our room was fabulous, fresh coffee, pastries,bacon sandwich,yoghurt & fruit . I really cannot fault the property or the hosts they went above & beyond.
