The bed was comfortable, good size tv, complementary milk, fridge, shower and bathroom were good.

The location is great and the property was clean and it was reasonably priced . We never saw the owners but did have communication with them

We have stayed here before. Rooms are really clean with good facilities. The bed is super comfy and it's in a quiet location It's within good walking distance of Whitby

The owner contacted me the day before to ask what time I'd be arriving, and gave very clear instructions re keys/parking permit (which was free!) so I was confident in what to do when I got there. On the way there, the owner let me know that the room was already ready, which was brilliant - great communication all round. When I got there I parked right in front of the house, the key box was easy to navigate, I couldn't get in - I was having a moment, it's very easy! - but the owner came and helped me and showed me to my room and how the permit works. Once in my room, I was very pleased/impressed to find the mini fridge complete with a pint of milk and 2 water bottles, as well as cutlery, plates, napkins and extra teabags and coffee available if we needed it, which I did as I drink an awful lot of tea. There were enough towels, and big ones at that! There was shampoo and shower gel but I brought my own so left those for the next guest. The smart tv was great to have, and the folder was full of useful info - where to have breakfast etc. We have been to Cranberry Swamp several times, and recommend there for anyone who's interested! Hopefully we will be able to book again, if and when we do I will be asking for room 1 - it is where we stayed and it had a lovely balcony with an actual proper sea view, where you didn't have to break your neck trying to see it! Lovely to wake up to. Would definitely stay again. Not far to walk into town either.

Lovely room and location was a 5 minute walk to the whale bone arch. Very thorough text with all arrival details from Emma the day before we arrived and very easy to navigate. Parking permit provided and easy parking outside the property on the road. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Whitby.

Great location close to the Whalebone Arch and Bram Stoker's bench. 2 minutes from the seafront. Large room with fresh milk and water in a fridge in the room. The staff were informative in advance. There is an excellent visitor guide in the room with everything from taxi numbers to local restaurant menus and recommendations of places to visit. The room was large, comfortable and well presented.

It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. It was a short walk into town and was so quiet. The owners had thought of everything!
