Nicely set back but within walking distance to the beach and some pubs and eateries. The Mrs enjoyed seeing the rabbits in the field adjacent to the hotel as well. The pillows were great probably the best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel.

Room was stunning. Tasteful, quiet, large. Lovely bed and decor. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Lovely bathroom. All facilities good. Nice biscuits etc, water and bottled milk in the fridge. Also a balcony.

Very clean, we stayed in the orchaid room 115 was exceptional. The facilities were fantastic alittle on the pricey side but a well posistioned hotel. would highly rate this hotel to anyone and will be back again! Close to the centre and beach. pet friendly, good food, great staff.

Room was nice, staff friendly, common spaces in the beach house feel airy and nice, doesn't yet feel like a bar I would sit in and share romantic drinks though..

Lovely, relaxing atmosphere throughout. We stayed in the Beach House and really enjoyed our room with the outdoor bath—highly recommend it! It's just a short walk to Sandsend Beach and the town, and only a brief drive into Whitby. The staff at the Beach House were especially friendly, and the overall vibe was peaceful and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again but eat elsewhere in the evening.

The lady in reception when we checked in was marvellous. The room was spacious, the bed huge and comfortable and the heated bathroom floor was just straight luxury. A bus just across the road was great for getting into Whitby without driving.

Everything. Just newly refurbished with new owners (reopened in Nov 24), the hotel has been decorated to a very high standard. It’s stunning! Fantastic location, room was fabulous.
