The new owners are absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Even preparing a little snack tray for when we got back as we were missing picky bits in reception. The bath and the view was insane!

Lovely warm welcome on arrival, friendly atmosphere and fantastic homemade nibbles! The Christmas decorations really gave us a festive warm feeling that seems to be harder and harder to find. Excellent hosting and we had a very enjoyable evening in the snug chatting with another couple. Will definitely visit again on our next jaunt to Whitby Thank you for having us 🙏

Plenty of choice for breakfast. Fresh local produce. The historic hall has a Pleasant Breakfast room and comfortable lounge with bar and Garden view. Our room was spacious with fresh and spotless en-suite facilities. Clean and fresh presentation throughout. . Great service and very welcoming friendly hosts.

Great location close to Ruswarp train station. Wonderful room, tastefully decorated with spotlessly clean facilities. Big comfortable bed. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.
