Room was very good, recently refurbished, the tv could have been easier to use as I could only get the station I required by using bbc i player or itvx it would have been easier to just use the buttons on the remote such as 1,2 or 3, we showered on the first night after travelling but the towels weren’t replaced, I didn’t ask reception as I thought they would get changed later

Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Plenty of tea/coffee etc. Excellent food and high level of service. Staff were very caring in reception and restaurant.

The staff was really friendly and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location is brilliant to be out of the business of Whitby centre however it's a short walk away.

Location and area were brilliant..short walk to shops and beach, or for longer walks. Staff at Royal hotel were very helpful and hospitable. Clean room and hotel in it's entirety. Nice ambient bar and dining service. We will be back as its a lovely place
