The location is a bit off the beaten track but not far from the M6 in one direction or the coast in the other. Quite isolated so quiet. Lots of parking. Room was fine as was the bar,which was cheaper than average. The vegetarian breakfast was as good as I've had. Staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend.

Great food- both dinner and breakfast options were great! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and made for a great night sleep. The rooms were clean and had everything you would expect in a room.

Great location. Lovely staff. Fantastic old building. Family room was really big… had plenty of space for 4 of us. Kids loved the old building. We choose this as a stop on our travel rather than a roadside travel lodge or premier inn.

This is such a friendly family and welcoming hotel. We have stayed here a couple of times now on our journey from Scotland south. The room is always very comfortable and the restaurant serves delicious dinner and breakfast. We will definitely stay again. Thanks so much for your warm welcome, your lovely hotel is such a warm and inviting place to stay..a breath of fresh air from all the modern chain hotels. Thanks so much. ☺️

Great value. Food was great and lots of it (try the mini mixed grill). Comfy bed and staff were pleasant. Safe private parking.
