We were just passing through Whangamata for 1 night, the accommodation was in a good location, with good facilities including a spa pool and the hosts were very friendly and helpful

The property is an older accomodation that has been recently renovated. It’s quirky but in the best possible way. The new owners are terrific hosts and a pleasure to chat with. They are extremely friendly and really engaged in their local community. They were extremely helpful in every way they could be. The rooms are small but well appointed. The linen and towels are good quality and everything is spotlessly clean. The kitchen facilities were all new and more than adequate. There was a small private courtyard that was lovely to sit in and have a drink and a chat whilst playing cards in the evening. I hope the owners have success with their new venture - they have made the effort to please their clients and deserve it.

I like that we could leave and come back and chill. If we wanted to socialise we could. The RSA across the road we had access to for food and it was yummy. Loved the art was calming and chilling and there where amazing comfortable blankets on the bed to feel snuggled.

The place was very clean, host was very accommodating and it’s just a walking distance to the restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and we like the vibe around the area. The spa was definitely a bonus! My husband asked me when are we going back. 😊 wished we would have stayed longer

The Owner is amazing and made us feel very welcome. I love the beautiful, quirky, beachy vibe of the place and the outdoor greenery is stunning. Our room was safe and cosy and offered everything we needed for our two nights stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was a 10/10. The location is perfect if you want to walk into town for a drink and dinner. Me and my husband had such a peaceful stay. Highly recommend. Thanks again
