Excellent motel, could be even compared with 4 stars hotel, quality of the room, attention to the small details, high level of comfort. Motel is used for CEO's and CFO's of substantial size Whakatane business to stay, it says a lot. All was great, really good sleep, high level of comfort. We loved it.

Malcolm is just lovely and very accommodating. We always stay at this hotel when we travel to Whakatane due to the great location, cleanliness of the rooms, amenities and comfy beds.

Great location. However as the unit is great and large, a larger luggage rack would be terrific, it just makes it a little easier for travelling couples.

The unit was very clean and tidy with two separate bedrooms, a kitchenette with microwave, jug and fridge/freezer and good amenities. Large screen TV with Sky TV and a heat pump outlet in the lounge area. Plenty of lounge seating and a good sized dining table. The bathroom was excellent, with two basins, large mirror, and a separate shower, spa bath and toilet room with a sliding door so it could be used while someone else used the basins. Very quiet unit and the curtains were very good block-out ones. Wifi was available and easy to use.
