The breakfast was very good, I asked for poached egg egg with grilled tomatoes no problem, my partner had the full English, eyes were bigger than his his belly. If in the area again would definitely go back. Food in evening good, homemade fish pie and cottage pie excellent.

It was very friendly the staff were very nice. The room we had was a little small but it was nice comfortable and clean. The location was good for us as we were only there for a couple of days and we like going out during the day. The food was good and the specials were good.

Fantastic pub great atmosphere, room excellent probably the most powerful shower ever experienced very dog friendly lovely little touches in the room for our dog too. Food very good

Comfortable and clean room. I arrived too late to try a bar meal, but the menu looks good, and based on the superb breakfast (I opted for eggs benedict), I'll certainly try to arrive in time next time. Very pleasant pub atmosphere.

*Tastefully decorated throughout the building. * Good choice for breakfast * The little gift bag on the tray with ear plugs, sleep mask, sewing kit etc, was a nice little touch. * Helpful friendly staff.

The room was really nice, recently refurbished, very clean, nice little extra bits toiletries, bottle water and a bed tray, plenty of tea,coffee.milk biscuits etc. Bed, duvet and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was super well cooked and nicely presented. A special thanks to Jenson and all his staff. Who made us feel welcome. Entertainment over christmas was great. Will be recommending to family and friends. We hope to return soon and looking forward to booking for xmas 2025. We would rate this accommodation as 5 star
