We took a notion on a Thursday afternoon to skip up to Westport for the night. Delighted to find the Mariner on Booking.com for €97. This is a lovely hotel. Very clean, fresh and cosy. Our room was perfectly appointed. We ducked between the raindrops and visited the Wyatt Hotel for pub grub then on to Matt Molloys for the seisiùn. A great night. Breakfast in the Mariner at €10 each was excellent. A lovely selection and better than most. Will definitely return here. Looking forward to it already.

The Mariner is ideally located to explore Westport on foot close to great restaurants shops and bars The staff were friendly and efficient Breakfast is cooked to order with a varied menu to suit all tastes Would definitely stay again
