We enjoyed walking around the gardens and exploring the historical building. The stay included a lovely breakfast, and on Saturday we got the option to order from the menu, which was good. The room (Junior Suite) was spacious and clean. The building and gardens were well kept.

Dinner was amazing. I was quite impressed with the quality of the meal, especially as I had arrived just before the kitchen closed. I didn't try breakfast as I was still full from the dinner! The bed and room were very comfortable. Plenty of parking and a lovely fire to greet guests as they arrived in the lobby.

Our room was very pretty and comfortable, and the hotel overall was very beautiful - the elegant decoration and artwork reflecting its ancient use as a country house. The extensive grounds and formal gardens were spectacular, even in February. The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

Wonderful, welcoming staff. Beautiful property and setting. We have had a wonderful stay here celebrating my birthday. We also dined in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious! Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion stay.
