The Barock-style castle chapel dating from 1681 can host weddings for up to 60 guests. Many open-air concerts, opera and theatre performances take place every summer in the spacious Burghof (castle yard) during the Westerburger Kultursommer (culture summer) festivities.
Guests are welcome to explore the castle park and the surrounding area. Bicycles can also be rented at the hotel. Towns such as Halberstadt, Wernigerode or the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Goslar and Quedlinburg are a 30-minute drive away. Larger cities such as Braunschweig, Wolfsburg and Hanover are around a 1-hour drive away.
Free parking is available at Wasserschloss Westerburg, and a small number of garage parking spaces are available for an additional fee. Westerburg is situated on the Romanesque Road and is among the 80 most significant monuments in Saxony-Anhalt.
