Staff were extremely welcoming especially Paul and Yvonne. Couldn’t do enough for you. We’re knowledgeable about the area as well. The food was fantastic especially the cooked breakfast. You will not find a better breakfast for the money

This was our 3rd stay here! Becoming a Christmas/end of year tradition. Great location, friendly welcome. Room was peaceful, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal and breakfast in the cosy pub. We definitely will be back.

Absolutely amazing little place. The little chalets out the back of the pub are so cute & comfortable!!! Had a really amazing & romantic stay. The power outage and the use of candles & the fire in the pub added to the romantic atmosphere!!! The shower is amazing with the choice of rainfall or regular head. The bed is super comfy. Love the little outdoor area that you can sit and have a drink or order food to your room. It was a bit cold for us to do that but was nice to have a private little area to sit. As it is a cricket themed pub, very much enjoyed all the cricket memorabilia and golf statues outside every room!! We had breakfast in the pub the next morning!! Either continental or hot breakfast menu choices. We went the full English & Vege breakfasts which were yummy!!! Again fire was going so it was lovely sitting by the fire to eat our breakfast before having to return to reality!!!

Fabulous public house with beautiful separate bedrooms. Yvonne was the icing on the cake. Thoroughly engaging and exquisitely welcoming! A perfect place for location, charm, value and enjoyment!
