Family room was big, cozy and comfortable. Loved the added touch of a Christmas tree in our room. Highly recommended for a family (we travelled with teenagers and it was perfect). Breakfast was good, including the usual cold meat and cheese spread and crispy bacon. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and an amazing view of the local castle. Book it!

This is a solidly built establishment that is easy to find but somewhat out of town. The staff were very helpful and efficient but there is no restaurant for meals other than breakfast which was excellent. Sadly the beds were very hard, but that's a personal preference, but the bathroom was quite roomy with a super shower. We also had a verandah which was very pleasant.

Location is great ! Located close to the castle , 15 min walk, close to the city center , 10 min en around the corner there is a beautiful park Also linnen is of a natural material

We stayed in a Junior Suite. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a view over the hotel grounds. A ten minute walk from the town centre with all its restaurants, shops and cafes means you have a lot of choice, but is just far enough from the town to hear nothing but bird song and the occasional steam train whistle from the room. A special mention for the breakfast. Fresh scrambled eggs and sausages are accompanied by a huge selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, breads as well as cereals, muesli and fresh yogurts. Fruit juices and mineral water are accompanied by a freshly brewed pot of coffee which is brought to your table by the friendly staff. If I were to return to Wernigerode, I would definitely return to this beautiful hotel.
