This hotel is one of the best stays in Weingerode this is the second time we have stayed there as we base it around the trip on the Hartz Steam Railway to Brocken it is in an excellent position to view all the train movements during the day The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful even though we did not manage to speak much German they did spoke very good English and were very very helpful the food was first class and freshly cooked the hotel was spotless ie shower etc the rooms were absolutely spotless we are planning a return trip

Very easy to locate, about 5 minute walk directly opposite the railway station. Easy access to town centre and all amenities. Clean hotel and friendly staff.

The train theme was a nice touch, the room layout and friendly staff. Location as is close to mainline and HSB station and Altstadt. Breakfast options were good and dinners were nice. Liked being able to see HSB trains from the breakfast room.

Situated a few minutes walk from the train stations - DB and HSB, infact it is directly opposite the HSB steam trains. Good buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Restaurant on site, the old town is a few minutes walk away with good selection of cafes and restaurants.
