Please note that Wengen is a car-free village. You can reach Wengen only by train. Park your car at the Lauterbrunnen station and take the train to Wengen. The train ride to Wengen takes approximately 20 minutes.Please inform the hotel about your arrival time in order to be picked up from the Wengen train station.Transfers from the hotel to and from the station are offered between 07:00 and 19:00, upon prior request.When booking more than 2 rooms different policies and supplements apply.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Breakfast is amazing, it has a lot of variety and everything is delicious, same goes for dinner, and the service was excellent. I purchased a wine bottle and left it in the table unfinished, they saved it and put it back in the table the next day, lovely touch.

Great hotel, lovely and cozy atmosphere, the location is great, views are amazing. The breakfast was great, we also paid for additional dinners, and the meals were great! Recommended!

Amazing hotel. Staff do everything they can and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning, including pancakes, bacon and eggs whatever way you wished cooked, dinner (a must try) was incredibly good value and very tasty. Finally, the views... No words can describe how it was. Sitting on the balcony and could hear a pin drop it was that quiet and peaceful with the most spectacular views. I can't wait to return.

Everything about the Alpenrose was great: stunning views; friendly, helpful staff; large, comfortable traditional alpine style room with big balcony and flowers; excellent substantial breakfasts and dinners; transport back up the very steep hill to the station; and even relatively good value for money in very expensive Switzerland!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to an apartment which has the most wonderful view of the mountains. The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We opted for full board which is value for money, and the food, both breakfast and dinner were very good. Dinner had 4 courses plus cheese board. Staff were alss very warm and friendly. I could not fault this hotel at all. We hope to return if we have the opportunity to come to Wengen again
