Please note that Wengen is car-free and can only be reached by an 11-minute train ride from Lauterbrunnen. Pick-up from Wengen Train Station can be arranged for CHF 10.00. To advise the time of arrival, guests can contact the property using the free phone next to the information board in the train stations in Wengen or Lauterbrunnen.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The mountain view with balcony is very unique, it’s so so beautiful. Breakfast was okay and staffs were nice except to the old lady at the reception was rude. On the first day, she gave us 2 seperate rooms instead of the family room that I had booked and that’s because of some licking she mentioned but she fixed the issue on the next day and she gave us the correct family room.

Amazing stay, highly recommend. Historic building, and INSANE views from the room balcony. Staff were extremely attentive, breakfast was fantastic. Short and easy access (although uphill!) from the Wengen train station. Perfect base for the area, and easy to leave car at the Lauterbrunnen train station before taking the short train up to Wengen. Highly recommend.

The view from the room was excellent. The short walk to the train station was fine. The location was close to the market where all things were available. Overall the experience was great. The breakfast was good.

Lovely historic hotel … a little dated/quirky but the history is terrific and we had a lovely dinner. The front courtyard/grassy area was great to relax in after our hike up!

We requested a Mountain View and were not disappointed... the view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful. The staff were helpful, breakfast was good, the room was spacious and the beds comfortable...although not the double bed as requested. We initially accessed the hotel via a rather steep "main" road but later found a quaint track from the back of the hotel which led directly into lovely and vibrant Wengen town.

Lovely hotel with the old fashioned feel but all modern amenities. Breakfast was very good and accommodations met our needs perfectly! Loved the double rooms and the balcony.
