Please note that Wengen is a car-free village. You can reach Wengen only by train. Park your car at Lauterbrunnen Station and take the train to Wengen. The train ride to Wengen takes approximately 20 minutes.

Superb refurbishment :) The rooms are now more like modern contemporary rooms rather than the older-fashioned traditional and basic rooms often found in Switzerland, even in expensive hotels.

It’s a wonderful, well thought out and comfortable hotel. But the stand out feature is the friendliness of all the staff. We had a lovely time. I will always recommend the hotel and will be back again soon.

The spa, the view and the bar area are all excellent along with the close location to the station and ski lifts. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel was well designed, the rooms were spacious, the spa/pool area was clean. The only missing thing is a jakuzzi. I forgat my purse in the room after the check out and the staff found it and gave it to me with all money in it.

Mind that there is no car village and to get to the hotel you must leave your car in Lauterbrunnen and take a train, which is part of the adventure and makes the place even more special. The hotel is well designed, and offers spa Nuxe spa treatments that I enjoyed very much! The staff on-site was friendly and helpful. Breakfast provides various options, including local cheese and specialties. The location is just next to the cable car and close to the main ski activities. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around, however, the hotel bar with a charming fireplace is an even better option to relax with a glass of good wine.

Great location in beautiful Wengen. Spacious rooms - we loved the "living room/library" corner with the sofa and the TV. We also liked the kettle, coffee machine, etc. that were provided in the room. The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent in terms of selection and quality. Staff were very helpful and friendly, with the young female bartender in particular going out of her way to provide us with the best possible experience. Another great plus of the hotel was the spa area. While it was quite small and simple, it was still a nice bonus on top of the overall great experience, especially as it was included for free with our booking. The view from the pool was amazing.

Breakfast was very good. Nice bar. Charming staff. Very close to lift. Having robes and slippers. Ski hire shop next doors. Attractive decor.

Lovely spot right by the lifts and in centre of town. Great food and service. Sadly the spa was being refurbished while I was there, but if it turns out to be anything like the rest of the property, it will be amazing.
