Hotel Overview

With individually styled rooms, this impressive Georgian house is set within 3.5 acres of grounds on the edge of the town of Wem.
Elegantly furnished rooms reflect the building’s character, with some boasting antique furniture. All rooms have a private bathroom, whilst many also enjoy views of the beautiful walled gardens.
Guests are greeted with a splendid staircase as they enter the Old Rectory. A peaceful conservatory overlooks the flowers, lawns and fruit trees in the well-kept gardens.
The property serves Light snacks during the day and evening. Afternoon Tea is also available to guests on request. Dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

Individually decorated single rooms with a 4ft bed. One room is at the front of the hotel and the other is at the rear of the hotel. Both rooms have beautiful views overlooking the hotel grounds.

Individually decorated room with carved antique bed. Beautiful views over Shropshire and the stunning hotel grounds.

Bridal Suite with Four Poster Bed - enter dates to see room photos

Individually decorated four-poster room with en suite spa bath. Views over the hotel grounds.

Overlooking the courtyard, front or rear gardens. Some rooms have views over Shropshire.

Rich warm colours and luxurious furnishings. All bedrooms are individually decorated in their own style. The room overlooks the courtyard, which is currently under renovation. Please note, additional beds cannot be accommodated in this room.

With a separate lounge. Can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. If booking for more than 2 people, charges will apply. Please indicate number of people when booking.

Members of staff were really attentive and welcoming. The building is lovely and the reception area is grand, Breakfast was great and the towels super soft.
