AnchorageWells next the Sea is located in Wells-next-the-Sea, just a 2-minutes walk away from the harbour, shops, restaurant and cafes. Set in a quiet location, guests are within walking distance to the award-winning beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham.
All rooms at AnchorageWells next the Sea have king-size beds, cushioned sofa or chairs and en-suite shower rooms on room-only basis. The property is just a short walk away from the local cafes, delhi, bakers and award-winning restaurants for breakfast and other meals. When booking the cottage holiday home, guests will be able to enjoy the newly fitted modern well equipped kitchen dining room, a comfortable lounge with 2 large comfortable sofas and outdoor terraces at the front and the back.
Guests do not have access to the kitchen and dining room or back terrace when they book a King Ensuite room only.
Some rooms have a sitting area and partial sea-views. The property has a shared terrace and the fully equipped apartment, situated closer to the quay, has a partial harbour view from its terrace only a few steps from the quay.
Holkham Hall is 1.5 miles and Blakeney Point is 5.6 miles from the house. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport, 26.7 miles from the property and the nearest train stations are in Norwich and Kings Lynn from which buses are available to Wells-next-the-Sea.

Overlooking the quiet yard, this small to medium room with a comfortable king bed has a steeper than normal Norfolk Winder staircase or on the ground floor. Guests can enjoy a comfortable seating area, king bed, TV, tea coffee making facilities and small en-suite shower room. Please note, parking is not available for these rooms.

Superior King Room - enter dates to see room photos

Large opening window with partial street harbour seaview and overlooking the quiet yard, this king room has a normal staircase on the 1st floor. Guests can enjoy a comfortable seating area, king bed, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, and recently refurbished en-suite with walk in shower. Please note parking is not available for these rooms.

King Suite with Partial Sea View - enter dates to see room photos

This room has a king-size bed, a seating area, small sofa, fridge with icebox and an en-suite shower room. Guests can enjoy partial sea views from the room. There is a second connecting room to this room that contains 2 single beds and can accommodate 1 adult or 2 children over the age of 11, for an additional charge. Please note that the suite has a low doorway and beams, and is accessed by 2 sets of steep stairs and built into the sloping attic roof. As a result, it is not suitable for young children and guests with mobility issues. Please note parking is not available for this unit.

This 1st floor modern 1 bedroom apartment, Anchorage Harbour Apartment, is offered on a self catering basis and located just around the corner from the Anchorage. The room has 1 bedroom with a king-size bed, a shower room and a well equipped kitchenette, lounge dining area with sofa, table and chairs. Guests can enjoy a partial sea view from the shared terrace at the front of the property, a few steps from the harbour. Parking is offered for this unit.

We loved the personal touch of the owners being close by, the unique accommodation, the view of the harbour from the bedroom window and how close and convenient it was to walk into the high street with shops, to the pubs & restaurants, to the beach etc. We also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area.

We love Anchorage Wells. We have stayed there 3 times in different rooms. Very clean and comfortable. We like the self check-in. Perfect for the town and beach.
