Please note that the Cambridge Hotel Bar and Cambridge Terrace are very busy and noisy from 21:00 until 03:00 on Friday and Saturday nights. You may experience noise disturbances from the bar and from the street during this time.Please note that there is a 1.8% charge when you pay with a credit card.Please note this property can only accommodate guests over 18 years of age due to the onsite bar.Please note if you require a different bedding configuration, this request must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance using the Special Request box or property contact details found on the booking confirmation.Please note that the actual layout, furnishings and condition of your room may differ from the photos. All other amenities listed will be available.Also, a $500 refundable bond must be paid for stag groups, hens parties, or sports teams. The location of the Cambridge Hotel was excellent. Only a 10 minute walk to Te Papa. The bedroom we shared between four people was good. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. We also liked the pub underneath. I especially loved stained glass windows and the old fashioned lift that you had to close the doors yourself.

That I paid $89 night for single room with booking.com to find if I’d contacted you direct it would’ve been $65 but I didn’t know about you then so I will definitely do that next time so that was annoying and it meant I couldn’t upgrade to room with bathroom Otherwise it was fine good location

Super affordable and the staff were always available to help & friendly. The private rooms were definitely a step up from the dorms, but that's completely to be expected.

Good value for money, clean room, friendly staff, central location in walking distance to waterfront and city centre, easy check-in/check-out. Perfect if you just want a practical place to stay over night. You need to be prepared for some noise though, it is not a quiet location. And plan your own parking.
