surprisingly that it is a hostel we had a spacious bright and shining clean room at the top of the building facing the port for a lower price than we paid for much worste accomodations we had when roaming in NZ traffic noise on the main street is not relevant common area and kitchen are amazing such as the whole personell

Own bathroom has shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, conditioner with really nice smell. Beds are comfy and high, you could pack a lot things under the bed, we liked our room. Haka House Auckland and Wellington proved, recommended.

We didn’t realise this was a hostel until we arrived. We had an en suite bedroom with a comfortable King Size bed, a good shower, and a fridge and TV in the room, AND we also took advantage of the excellent shared hostel kitchen facilities, so I think we had the best of all worlds. The hostel is very well located for sight seeing in Wellington and there’s a supermarket directly opposite.

2 nights, great sleep, good shower temps. Was able to store my luggage. Plus the TV lounge was a comfortable place to rest while waiting to leave for the airport.
