The Villa is just perfect. It is located in a very calm and beautiful place, has a lot of space and everything you need to stay in comfort. Also a peacock and a very nice dog called Blacky live on the territory. The hosts are very warming people, they were always in contact, helped us to find a tuktuk to the station at 6 am, advised us some shops nearby and provided us with handmade local tasties. It is an ideal place if you are renting a bike, but there are also a bus stop (haven’t tried it) and a lot of tuktuks.

My stay at Villa Lake Mountain was simply wonderful. The location was very convenient being 10 minutes from Weligama and 15 minutes from Midigama. Very quite and peaceful setting in front of lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The villa's private entrance and serene garden were perfect for relaxation, the terrace with hammock and breathtaking views of the and lake. While I stayed only a few days, I think the villa well-equipped for longer stays, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, etc. This is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with friendly hospitality and beautiful surroundings in Weligama. Highly recommended!
