Great size room with big bed, pool was nice to use and the 3 members of staff were nice and attentive. Breakfast was good, I enjoyed the fresh fruit, tea and eggs offered different ways.

The breakfast was extremely delicious. They organised the transfer to the airport for us The location is not directly at the beach but there is a very friendly driver who is vacant at all times and can take you to the beach. The pool and the room were also extremely clean.

Our stay at The Hideaway Weligama was nothing short of amazing! The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean, with a bed that was incredibly comfortable and had perfect pillows for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was also stunning and clearly designed with attention to detail. One of the true highlights was the breakfast—it felt like dining at a high-end restaurant each morning. The variety, presentation, and flavors were top-notch, making it one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. Absolutely fantastic! The owners and staff were wonderful: so friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. If we return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend The Hideaway Weligama to anyone visiting the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway Weligama. The room was luxurious and clean (+ comfy beds!). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also really enjoyed the breakfast which was a welcoming change after the standard toast / egg / jam we got at most other accomodations. The pool refreshing after a day in the sun. Would highly recommend!

The property and the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. We had a good comfortable stay. Room and toilet were clean and the pool is baby friendly with a small baby pool area that helped my little one who is 1 year 18 months. Safe gated property we were able to park the vehicle also inside (room for 3 cars inside the property). Only downside is the property is not located near the beach but little away. Would have been fantastic if it was next to the beach. But all in all, can recommend for a comfortable and safe stay specially for those traveling with kids.
