Loved this place so much! I stayed longer than planned, and will definitly come back to Coconut Surf Inn. Peefect location in a quiet and relaxed village with two surfspots, and close to several spots for every surf-level. My room(s) was spacious, comfortable and clean, and the building is well maintained. Rooms are cleaned regularly, and on demand if needed. Beautiful up-stairs restaurant with a huge breakfast selection, varied menu and plenty of chill-out options (hammocks, sofas etc), and an amazing roof-top for surfchecks, relaxing and yoga. The building has several areas with hammocks and sofas, good storage for surfboards, and the closeby beach shacks are perfect for watching the sunsets surfers. As a woman travelling alone I felt very safe. There is such a warm, friendly and welcoming wibe in this place. A perfect place to surf, relax and rest.The village is a hidden gem, and offers several secrets beaches, massage options, good foods, varied yoga and quiet nights (no noisy parties around) in green and lush surroundings. Tuktuks are available for good priced just outside the inn if you want to explore Weligama Ahangama or other surf spots. I highly recommend staying here - good value for money and good wibes.

Our stay at the Coconut Surf Inn was simply amazing and definitely worth more than nine stars! We were particularly impressed by the varied breakfast, freshly prepared every morning. You could order à la carte and choose from a wide range of options, including lots of fresh fruit. The highlight: the stunning view from the restaurant on the second floor. Watching the waves and the sea while having breakfast was the perfect way to start the day! The restaurant is lovingly run by a local family who won us over with their warmth and dedication. The rest of the staff was equally helpful and supported us in every way. They even helped us organize affordable tuk-tuks to Weligama or Mirissa – a fantastic service! The rooms vary in quality. Some have recently been renovated and offer a modern, high-standard experience. Others are still a bit older and might feel slightly musty. If needed, you can simply ask the management about changing rooms – they are very accommodating and willing to help. There’s plenty to explore in the area as well. The nearby beach bar is a great spot to relax in the evening with a cold beer or a fresh coconut. If you prefer staying in, the in-house restaurant serves delicious meals at very reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere. Our verdict: The Coconut Surf Inn is a fantastic place to stay, with a family-like atmosphere, outstanding breakfast, and unbeatable service. We’ll definitely be back!

amazing location 2 minute walk to plantations and coconuts surf break. set away from the main road so was very quiet. breakfast and dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. rooms very clean and offered to clean daily if needed. staff very friendly

Short walk to Coconuts and Plantations surf breaks. Located in a quiet spot away from the main road. Spacious, clean room. Restaurant on site and roof top terrace with good views. Great value for money.
